Jun 2, 2011 | Dr.
Rex Rogers will encourage us with how God is using satellite television
across the Middle East and North Africa. The SAT-7 staff produces over
80% of SAT-7 programs in the Middle East with local Middle east
Christians in a wide variety of Biblically based, culturally sensitive
and relevant programming that speaks to the spiritual and physical
needs of the viewers and to the most important social issues of the
region. Programs are non-political and non-partisan; they are not aimed
at any one country or religious denomination, nor do they attack any
religion or belief. SAT-7’s message of Jesus’ unconditional
love and forgiveness directly counters the messages of violence and
martyrdom that are seen on other local channels. Visit www.sat7usa.org and www.sat7.org for more information. |

May 5, 2011 | Training ... one of the key ingredients to mobilizing! Workers for the harvest need to be trained before beginning cross-cultural ministry assignments around the world, or even right here. Various choices ranging from agency training programs to seminaries exist, but recently another option to supplement the equipping of missionaries has begun to be utilized more. Church-based training provides a unique environment for the practical, mentoring-oriented kind of preparation needed to see Biblical community begun in other cultures. We will discuss this topic, and provide an overview of two such church-based training programs being offered right here in the Metroplex. Cindy Wiles of First Baptist Church Arlington and Don Beacham of Grace Community Church will be sharing. | Hope Coffee |

Currently, there are people coming from over 50 different churches and the ministry has the door to it’s prayer room open most of the week. They desire to partner with the local Church to see maturity in unity, effectiveness in ministry, and the moving forth of the gospel here in this city and feel that the Lord has commissioned them to labor specifically in prayer to see these Kingdom objectives met. Currently The Prayer Room offers 19 corporate prayer times per week, a Saturday night weekly gathering we call our Encounter Service, several weekly small discussion groups on various end time themes called E12 Groups, conferences and training workshops. | A ministry that is working with House Churches in East Asia |
